Working principle and kinematic analysis of submerged jet vegetable washer

    • This paper introduces the structure and characteristic of submerged jet vegetable washer. The washing mechanism was analyzed. The flow field of cleaning water and the motion state of vegetables disturbed by submerged jets were primarily investigated. The experiment verified the kinematic law of vegetables under the condition of submerged jets of water, which provided theoretical and test absis for the design of the vegetable washers. The results show that nozzle dimension, position and velocity of flow mostly influence the cleaning effects for vegetable. In present test, when the velocity of flow from nozzle reaches 4.5~5.5 m/s, the vegetable can be washed well.
