    Optimization of technology for tussah powder microcapsulation

    • In order to make the better use of tussah, the wall materials and the technology of embedding were studied. The method was confirmed, which used the spo-mo350 denaturalized starch and gum Arabic as wall materials, the tussah powder as core material and spray drying technology. Results show that the best parameters of the embedding of the microcapsule are that the proportion of denaturalized starch to gum Arabic is 4 to 1, the temperature of enter wind is 180℃ and the go wind is 115℃. The proportion of core material to wall material is 1 to 1, the wall material proportion in the emulsificated liquid is 30%, and the embedding rate reaches to 86.4%. This technology of embedding can put the tussah powder to better use of deodorization and is prone to oxidation and has wider foreground.
