Abstract
Two treatments(natural storage and cornstalk cover) and three repetitions were applied to pile dairy manure. The emission of greenhouse gases(GHGs) from different treatments of stored dairy manure were observed by using the static chamber-GC theory with manual method in four periods. The emissions of GHGs between two treatments have the same variations in each period, but the emission is disparate in four periods. The emission of GHGs from treatment of natural pile was significantly correlated with manure temperature. The emission of CO2 and N2O decreased from the stored dairy manure with cornstalk cover. The emission of CO2 in the third period(2006-05-14~2006-06-14) and the emission of N2O in the fourth period(2006-08-02~2006-08-30) are significantly different, but the influence on the emission of CH4 is different in different periods, and CH4 emission with cornstalk cover increased, and was significantly different. The emission of greenhouse gases in the other period is not significantly different.
