Experimental study on washing cherry tomatoes with submerged jets mechanism

Experimental study on washing cherry tomatoes with submerged jets of water was carried out. Through experiment on various cleaning amount and jet flowrate, the relationship between the different influence factors on the submerged jets mechanism and the cleaning effect on cherry tomatoes was analyzed within the context of the developed testing method. The results show that the submerged jets mechanism is a good method for cherry tomatoes, because of the low damage rate and noticeable cleaning effect.
