Emergy evaluation of eco-productive paradigm of artificial grassland-meat sheep breeding-company system in Chifeng city of Inner Mongolia

    • Synthetical research on the agricultural engineering by applying scientific evaluation system becomes a hot issue at present. Emergy, developed by Odum with the characteristics of common unit; allows all resources to be compared on a fair basis and provides a bridge that connects economic and ecological systems which supplies a scientific and feasible approach to the synthetic analysis and evaluation of agricultural engineering. So, emergy synthesis was addressed here to analyze the model of developing artificial grassland engineering to breed meat sheep of Lvkang company in Chifeng city. It showed that the artificial grassland with higher production efficiency with 1.46 of emergy yield rate(EYR) and lower environment pressure with 2.32 of evirorrmental load rate(ELR) comparing to average agriculture development of the Inner Mongolia and China constructed good emergy feedback mechanism through yard fattening of high quality and achieved the maximization of ecological, social and economic benefits so that it could be called a small scale paradigm of eco-economic sustainable development and would apply a classical agricultural engineering that is worth spreading for the construction of artifical grassland-stock raising of Inner Mongolia.
