Analysis of land use change and ecosystem service value in the overlapped areas of crop and mineral production in Zoucheng City

    • Take Zoucheng city, Shandong Province as a case, according to lands statistical data during 1990~2005, ecosystem service value in the overlapped areas of crop and mineral production(OACM) had been analyzed. The results indicate that the change of land use structure is fast in OACM, which displays as the cultivated land reduces fast, the water area and unused land increase largely. As a result of the water area increasing, the ecosystem total service value in OACM presents a growth tendency in recent 15 years. The contribution rate of cultivated land is the biggest in different land use types, it is about 70%, next is the water area, and the contribution rate of these two types change mostly. The contribution rate of the forest land is the smallest in OACM, generally about 5%. The most significant difference of the ecology service function between OACM and non- OACM is the function of water regulation. The waste treatment and soil formation function are both in the leading position in all towns. The waste treatment function increases largely, but the soil formation function gradually decreases. In OACM biology multiplicity and the entertainment function have increased, but food production function drops slightly.
