Technology for supercritical CO2 extraction of Korean pine nut oil and analysis of the fatty acids

    • In order to optimize the technology for supercritical CO2 extracting the oil from Korean pine nut, the influencing factors such as extraction pressure, temperature and time on yield of the oil were investigated, and the fatty acid composition in the oil were also analyzed. The results show that optimum technology of extraction is as follows: extraction pressure, temperature and time are 40 MPa, 45℃, 3 hour respectively. The yield of the oil is 45.85% under this optimum condition. Extraction pressure and temperature are the main influencing factors(P<0.05). Moreover, nine kinds of fatty acids are identified by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry(GC-MS) method, the quality of which account for 99.98% of total fatty acids in the oil and in which the relative content of linoleic acid and α-linolenic acid account for 41.79% and 15.62%, respectively.
