Abstract
Software and hardware of a new type of liquid press monitor were designed based on MCS—51. some technical shortcomings of common digital liquid press meters such as complex calibrating process, lower measuring precision, single and imperfect controlling mode are overcome and the requirement of standard input signal in other digital intellectual meters are fulfilled in this monitor. The results of the performance test and practical application show that the system has the stable performance and the convenient operation as well as lower rate of performance and price so that it has got good application in the water saving irrigation.
