Abstract
In order to analyze the modal shapes and working reliability of the small agricultural machinery, measurement and analysis on vibration of JSX5D small agricultural machinery based on LMS Test. Lab was carried out. The modal parameters such as natural frequency, damping ratio and corresponding modal shapes were obtained. The results show that the stiffness of the testing machinery is high due to the higher fundamental frequency 92.7Hz and the lower damping ratio less than 4.41%. But the damping ratio of the steering handle is only 0.55%, so, in order to decrease the working vibration intensity, suitable damping material should be added. And the direction of vibration of the mechanical interface of engine and gearbox is coincide with its normal direction, which shows that the connection stiffness of this kind of mechanical interface is weak. The connection stiffness should be strengthened to ensure the power input of small agricultural machinery.
