Electric field distribution produced by circular electrode of induce charging nozzle

Abstract
Electrostatic spraying technology could be applied for prevention and control of plant pests with wide application foreground. The electric field of the charging electrode is one of the key parameters for the electrostatic spraying performance. A mathematic simulation on the electric field distribution produced by circular electrode of induce charging method was conducted for the aerial pesticide spraying nozzle. According to the connection of right-angle coordinate with polar coordinates, the universal spatial distribution of electric field strength was shown by ellipse integration through calculating the formula of potential electric field. The results provide practical references for designing the charging devices of aerial electrostatic spraying reasonably, determining the speed of spraying liquid properly, and ensuring the enough charging time for droplets.
