Abstract
In order to test the anti-drift performance of the guided baffle plate type sprayer, the simulation experiment and field experiment were done to compare the anti-drift performance of new sprayer and conventional sprayer. The results showed that the guided baffle plate type sprayer changed the flow field around the nozzle, which could reduce the horizontal velocity and product the down vertical airflow. So the drift potential of droplets was reduced and the droplets were intimidated to deposit on target. The deposition of the middle and bottom wheat canopy was increased by 119.2% and 112.3%, respectively, and the total deposition was increased by 20.3%. The variation coefficients of deposition of the top, middle and bottom canopy were 7.85%, 6.37% and 8.71%, respectively, which were all less than that of conventional sprayer.
