    Numerical analysis of load-bearing capacity of oil film for hydro-hybrid bearing using finite element method

    • In order to study the effect factor in designing the hydrodynamic and hydrostatic hybrid spherical shaft system set, such as the pressure distribution, bearing capacity, all of the oil membrane pressure and load-bearing capacity for the hydrodynamic and hydrostatic hybrid spherical bearing were analyzed by using the Navier-Stokes equation in spherical coordinates and finite element method(FEM). The results of FEM analysis accord with the experiment values. So, the theoretical basis for designing the hydrodynamic and hydrostatic hybrid spherical shaft system set was supplied by the method.
