Abstract
A new type of two-range input split HMT was provided. Based on parameters of certain vehicle, the characteristics of speed ratio, motion, power flow and the condition of smooth shifting were analyzed. By theoretical analysis, the results show that the designed HMT is of wide speed governing range and higher magnification times of hydrostatic power. Meanwhile, the provided scheme has the advantage of brake energy recovery, which makes it promising in application in civilian vehicles and agricultural machinery.
