Revised method for grading agricultural land based on land consolidation

    • Land consolidation is an important way of keeping dynamic balance of the cultivated land in China, but the quality of supplementary cultivated land has not been effectively controlled. The problems in the quality of supplementary cultivated land and the agricultural land grading results were discussed, considering the principle of land use data sharing, how research results of farmland classification would be widely and rationally used to evaluate the cultivated land gradation in process of land consolidation. The cultivated land gradation index was revised by land factors that a affected the land consolidation in the process of the cultivated land gradation evaluation. One revised method of farmland classification was established in which the effect of land consolidation engineering was fully considered. Finally, satisfying results were obtained by the demonstration in a land consolidation project in Huzhuang Town, Dashiqiao City.
