Migration amount of Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate from food-grade PVC film into meat at three temperatures

    • Amount of migration of Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) from food-grade poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) film into meat under three kinds of temperatures was studied in this paper and DEHP was detected by saponification and distillation method. The results show that the migration amount of DEHP increases with time prolonging and temperature increasing and reaches the maximum at 90oC, 0.5 h with 1961.92 mg/kg(75.12 mg/dm2). Except that the amount of migration of DEHP not being detected under 10oC(contacting time≤41 h), the migration amount of DEHP oversteped the overall migration limit of EC (60 mg/kg) under all other conditions.
