Abstract
Woodceramics is a kind of new functionality wood charcoal material, the ratio of remaining carbon is an important parameter of woodceramics. This thesis tries to choose appropriate additives to increase the ratio of remaining carbon of woodceramics. Wheat straw, thermosetting resin, alcohol ,etc, were selected as raw materials and Zncl2, K2CO3, (NH4)2HPO4 and Na2B4O7·10H2O as additives. All these components were mixed uniformly according to the proportion and hot-pressed to sample with the dimension. The samples were put into the vacuum furnace and sintered in the atmosphere of nitrogen ,and the termination temperature was 300℃, 400℃, 500℃, 600℃, 700℃ and 800℃, respectively, and woodceramics were prepared and the effects of the additive on the ratio of remaining carbon were investigated. It showed that, compared with contrasting group, after adding proper additive , the ratio of remaining carbon of woodceramics increased about 6% and 10% separately under two heating models , while other properties such as bending strength, density, porosity and resistivity of woodceramics don’t change. The result testfies the feasibility of preparing woodceramics using wheat straw by that technique. At the same time, it indicates that the ratio of remaining carbon of woodceramics can be increased significantly. using ZnCl2, K2CO3, (NH4)2HPO4 or Na2B4O7·10H2O as additives. The presented work also pioneers a new aspect and space for recycling wheat straw synthetically.
