Abstract
Whether the axial force is balanced commendably influences whether the canned motor pump can function safely and reliably. The balanced axial force design technology of canned motor pump becomes the constraint of its large scale development. The axial force of canned motor pump rotor was multi-analyzed and calculated. By integrating the reasons for producing the axial forces of canned motor pump, the method which adjusts the size of packing ring behind the impeller and the overflow area of the balancing hole was used to achieve the balanced design of the axial force effectively. In order to measure the axial force of canned motor pump, the measuring installation and the testing system were designed. After the balance computation and the experimental confirmation, the theoretical calculation and the measured value are almost consistent. By synthesizing the axial force calculation, the design calculation method of balancing axial force has very good practical value.
