    Desalination process by dredger fill under steady flow in Caofeidian area

    • Using dredger fill to reclaim land from sea is a primary way for expanding expand land space in coastal areas. Based on soil column simulation experiment, the salt leaching process by dredge fill in Caofeidian area was analyzed under constant water head. The leaching requirement and the desalination time of the dredge fill were obtained. The salt transport and desalination mechanism during salt leaching process were discussed in the study area. The results can provide a reference for ecological construction and afforestation of land which is made from dredger fill.
