Development tendency of residual current protection technology and device in China

The basic principles of residual current protection devices were introduced in this paper. The working principles , operation characteristics and application status of new residual current protection were also analyzed. Based on that, influencing factors of correct operating rate of residual current protection device were anatomized, and improvement of residual current protection device were suggested.
