Abstract
In order to master the thin layer hot-air drying character of lagenaria leucantha rusby, the influences of the wind temperature and speed on the drying process of thin layer hot-air drying of the lagenaria leucantha rusby under certain condition were studied. The equations of drying curve were fitted, and the dynamics parameters such as convective heat-transfer coefficient α, and quality transmission coefficient kH, were calculated. The results showed that the wind temperature and speed had greater influence on the dehydrating rate, and 75℃、1.04 m/s were suitable parameters. The drying procedure could accurately be described by the Page model. With the wind speed rising, α and kH increased, but the wind temperature had a little effect on the two coefficients. The results can provide a theoretical basis for industrialization production and control of drying lagenaria leucantha rusby.
