Abstract
By matching the parameters of engine and hydraulic converter, the basic power shift schedule, which took the speed and throttle angle as input, was established. According to the different loading, the pressure of the oil pump was used as the adjusting parameter to adjust the shift schedule. Considering the ramp, the fuzzy adjusting strategy was adopted to adjust the foundational gear. The effective of the proposed method was validated in the test. The result indicated that as the loading increased, the shift points would increased about 2-5 km/h, so that the best power performance could be obtained. The forklift truck always ran with one gear on the lamp to avoid it sliding down. This proposed method can enrich the manipulating theory of forklift truck and could be applied in practice.
