    Measurement and analysis on vibration characteristics of pneumatic seed metering device of no-till seeder

    • In order to determine the proper working speed of pneumatic seed metering device and correctly design the no-till planter, the spot tests and orthogonal tests on measuring the vibration of pneumatic seed metering device excited by the ground surface were carried out. Through testing, the characteristics and main parameters of vibration for seeders excited by the ground surface were obtained. The results showed that the vibration can be simulated with the dominant frequency, its frequency ranges from 35 to 70 Hz, and its acceleration ranges from 0 to 39.49 m/s2. The orthogonal test also revealed that the main factor to affect the vibration frequency and vibration amplitude was the forward speed of the seeder.
