    Effect of Multifunctional Plastic Film Transfering Violet Ray to Red Light (VTR) Applied in Field

    • The multifunctional plastic film transfering Violet ray to Red light(VTR) as the new plastic film has long life and non-drop character. It can transfer violet ray of sunlight to red ray. Contrasted to general non-drop film, the result of field experiments on seven crops of vegetables, fruits, and flowers indicated that VTR film can increase luminousness and temperature condition in plastic tunnel, improve vegetative growth, advance development of crop, increase yield by 10.5% or so. Furthermore, It can promote the quality of agricultural products such as increasing the saccharine content. The increased yield mostly happened at early stage, so there were certain economic benefits for farmers.
