Abstract

According to orthogonal test, many factors affected by harvest quality of a double head of corn picker and straw forage cutter were found. The effects of factors on corn picker and straw cutter and transporter were analyzed. Through designing the parts of machine, working parameters of the double head were confirmed. In the harvesting seasons, the performance with the double head of corn picker and straw forage cutter and transporter was tested, and all performance indexes met the requirements of national standard. The result showed that the double head of the picker and forage cutter has an extensive adaptability to all corn varieties.
